      How to Export Entries Data via CSV

      The Entries Tab allows you to export detailed entry data for your promotions, including participant outcomes, timestamps, and associated metadata.

      Steps to Export Entries

      1. Navigate to the Entries Tab

        • Go to the Data Centre.
        • Select the Entries Tab from the main navigation menu.

      2. Apply Filters

        • Use the filter options at the top of the page to narrow down the data:
          • Promotion: Filter by specific promotions.
          • Entry Date: Select a date range for entries.
          • Opened Date: Filter by when participants first landed on the start page.
          • Entry Method: Choose between Private or Public entries.
          • Game Type: Filter entries by the type of game used in the promotion.
          • Draft Entries: By default, test entries are excluded, but you can include them if necessary.

      3. Customize the Table View

        • Show or hide specific columns by adjusting the table settings to focus on the fields you need.

      4. Export Your Data

        • Click the Export List button at the top right of the page.
        • Choose between:
          • Export All Entries: Includes all data visible in the table.
          • Export Filtered Entries: Exports only the data that matches your applied filters.
        • The system will generate a CSV file for download.

       

      Understanding the Exported CSV

      The CSV file may include:

      • Name: Participant name.
      • Email: Participant email address (if collected).
      • Promotion: The associated promotion.
      • Entry Date: When the participant completed their entry.
      • Opened Date: When the participant first visited the promotion.
      • Result Label: Outcome of the entry (e.g., Lucky/Unlucky).
      • Reward Label: Associated reward (if applicable).

      Q1: Can I export data for multiple promotions at once?
      Yes, filter by multiple promotions to include them in the export.

      Q2: What happens if I don’t apply any filters?
      The export will include all entries in the selected promotion(s).

      Q3: Can I re-export data?
      Yes, you can apply filters and export data as needed.

      Q4: What format is the exported file?
      The exported file is a CSV, which can be opened in spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

      Q5: Is there a limit on the number of entries I can export
      There’s no hard limit, but very large datasets may take significant time to generate.
