Need to add restrictions to the frequency someone can enter?
BeeLiked offers two ways that you can restrict entries to your promotion. The method you choose really depends on how much control you need over who can enter and when.
Public Promotions
When your goal is to generate new leads, or essentially create a promotion that can grow your audience, you may want to put in place a restriction on how many times or how often the same person can enter.
When setting up your promotion in the Builder, navigate to the Entry page and click on the form to pop open the settings. You will then see the options for editing the fields shown in the entry form. If you scroll a bit further down on this form pop up, you will also see the option to switch on the option 'WOULD YOU LIKE TO ADD LIMITS TO THE NUMBER OF TIMES PEOPLE CAN ENTER?'.
You can then set a limit for entry per person per day or a maximium number of entries the same person can make to the promotion.
The one thing to know is that this method is not foolproof. BeeLiked only restricts entry based on the email address entered, so if someone can get the same benefit of entering using a different email address, then they might be tempted to do that.
Private Promotions
BeeLiked offers a second and totally secure way for you to regulate who can enter your promotions and how often. When setting your promotion live you can choose the option to make it a Private Promotion (Premium Feature). To enter a Private Promotion each person will need to have been sent a unique InviteLink (which you can generate via the Share Page, via our API or using Zapier). Each InviteLink is valid for one entry only and once used, can not be used again (although you can set it so the same link can allow re-access to the result message making it easy to retrieve a winning code, or web link etc).
