How to Export Contact Data via CSV

Exporting contact data is useful for tracking engagement and participant behaviors.

 Steps to Export Contacts
  1. Navigate to the Contacts Tab

    • Go to the Data Centre.
    • Select the Contacts Tab from the main navigation menu.
  2. Apply Filters

    • Use filters to focus on specific participant attributes or behaviors, such as:
      • Number of promotions entered.
      • Specific promotions or activity date ranges.
  3. Sort and Customize the Table View

    • Adjust the columns to display the data you need (e.g., Name, Email, Total Promotions Entered).
  4. Export Your Data

    • Click the Export List button at the top right of the page.
    • Choose between:
      • Export All Contacts: Includes all participants in the Contacts Tab.
      • Export Filtered Contacts: Exports only participants matching your applied filters.

 

Understanding the Exported CSV

The CSV file may include:

  • Name: Participant name.
  • Email: Participant email address (if provided).
  • Promotions Entered: Number of promotions the participant has engaged with.
  • First Entry Date: The date of the participant’s first engagement.
  • Last Entry Date: The most recent engagement date.
