BeeLiked provides two effective ways to share personalized invites for your promotions: In-Person Invites (using Display to Play) and Remote Invites via Email.
Depending on your needs—whether you're hosting a physical event or engaging participants remotely—these options give you the flexibility to choose the best approach for your promotion. This guide will walk you through both paths, explain when and why you should use each, and give you detailed instructions on how to set them up.
1. What You Need to Get Started
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- BeeLiked Account: An active premium plan is required. If you don’t have one, you can sign up at BeeLiked.
- Promotion Setup: Your promotion should already be created on BeeLiked. If you need help setting it up, check out our How to Set Up a Promotion guide.
2. In-Person Invites (Using Display to Play)
Display to Play is ideal for engaging with participants directly in a physical setting, such as at trade shows, conferences, retail events, or any event where you want to provide instant access to your promotion through QR codes or embedded displays.
Why Use Display to Play
- You have a physical event where participants are present and can interact with the promotion on-site.
- You want a seamless, quick way for attendees to access the promotion via their smartphones by scanning a QR code.
For detailed instructions on how to set up and use the Display to Play widget, refer to our Display to Play Widget Guide.
3. Remote Invites via Email
BeeLiked makes sending InviteLinks for private promotions easy using your transactional email service. We currently support Mailchimp, and integrations for other platforms like SendGrid are coming soon.
This method is best when you’re promoting remotely or need to reach individuals directly and individually.
For detailed steps on how to set up and send InviteLinks via email, refer to our How to Set Up and Send Invites to Your Personalized Private Promotions via email guide.
4. Monitoring and Managing Your Promotion
Once your promotion is live, it’s essential to track how it’s performing and ensure everything is running smoothly.
- Track Engagement: In your BeeLiked dashboard, view the analytics to monitor how many participants have clicked on InviteLinks or scanned the QR code.
- Monitor Redemptions: Track how many rewards have been claimed and how participants are interacting with the promotion.
- Export Data: If needed, you can export participant data for further analysis or follow-up.
5. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues, here are some common solutions:
- InviteLink Not Working: Double-check that the URL is correctly generated and that any restrictions (e.g., access control, expiration date) are set as needed.
- QR Code Not Scanning: Make sure the QR code is large enough for easy scanning and clearly visible in the event space.
- Low Engagement: If participation is lower than expected, consider adjusting the messaging or offering additional incentives to encourage participation.
